Comments Off on High Point Furniture Market

In the furniture industry, there are 2 trade shows (or ‘markets’ as they are called) a year in High Point, North Carolina, where most of the furniture makers bring out their latest introductions. High Point is a quiet little city for 50 weeks out of the year, but for the 2 weeks (one in April, the other in October) everything changes! It becomes a bustling place where all the hotels are full, and restaurants are packed with sales reps, store owners, designers and buyers. The one common thread between them is their passion for all things furniture.

The excitement in the air is palpable – especially in April after a long winter for most. Those of us from the north look forward to the warmth in both the air and the people of High Point. Southern hospitality at its best. This year, market takes place from the 18th to the 23rd. Manufacturers will be displaying their latest and greatest, and the reps will be doing their best to convince store owners and buyers that they need one of everything!

High Point is where you see the coming colors and trends, beautiful displays, renew friendships, and get excited in general about furniture again. If you are as passionate about beautifully crafted furniture as we are (and if you are reading this you must be!), this is what it’s all about. Stay tuned for the new offerings!
